Design Direction

Nili Lotan is a New York based clothing brand blending utilitarian and stylistic cues from various uniform motifs. The brand promotes the notion that a woman’s wardrobe should function as an extension of herself. 

I created the brand’s website to showcase CEO, Nili Lotan’s, minimal and timeless fashion style through the use of descriptive titles and copies and utilized her editorial campaign images in a narrative direction. Although Nili Lotan has never staged a runway show, the brand has had seasonal campaigns that allowed me to exploit narrative images for each collection. This direction provided a sense of order for the products which was supplemented by integrating functional features such as breadcrumbs and a product cross sell module on the product page.

Collection Page

Created a simple layout that intermingled editorial campaign images and short descriptions so customers have an opportunity to learn more about specific collections during their shopping experience. Separately designed shoppable collection pages with significant use of editorial images that linked to specific product pages. The shoppable collection pages enable customers to get direct access to products and easily explore the overall style of the page. 

Product Page

Designed a simple layout to focus on the product image. I added two supportive features (“View size guide” and infographic of “Fit” measurements) to assist customers in selecting the appropriate size in an effort to minimize product return rates. For the mobile version, created a more intuitive checkout process by incorporating a flexible size selector and cross sell module for other related items.
