Logo Design
SPLITS 59 is a Los Angeles-based women's premium activewear brand inspired by the beauty of sport and intelligent design. Splits59 has set a new benchmark for women's activewear by blending quick-dry sports fabrics with a great fit for ultimate comfort. Splits59’s motto is to craft beautiful clothes to facilitate the exercise routines of active women.
Based on the client’s request to create a headless e-commerce platform to improve site performance, I optimized the design with a simple, yet versatile, layout to help the brand maximize the use of their editorial content throughout the site. For instance, I created diverse modules that are stylized by different functions and added a moving interactive text segment on the homepage. The various stylized modules and interactive segments create an atmosphere that invites the customer to experience the brand’s commitment to activewear and ultimately creates a more connected shopping experience.
Logo Renewal
Replaced the original condensed logo with a new logo that accentuates the brand’s vision of providing chic and timeless apparel and blended the new logo into the background when the customer scrolls through the site to create an interesting visual aesthetic.
Collection Page
Added view toggle buttons on the collection page that provide customers the option to shift over layout views and optimized a Quickbuy feature that only appears below the product image when hovering to briefly inform the customer of available color/ size options. Included additional functionality to allow the Quickbuy feature to slide out to see further details. That way, customers are provided a quick and easy checkout process without going into the product page to select further options.
Product Page
Collaborated with Client on design ideas for the custom kit page that provide customers recommended selective pairs for easier purchases; this feature served the dual purpose of also furthering the brand’s business strategy.
